During the 2018 National Sherriff Association Conference and Expo, PIPS Technology unveiled the latest additional to its wide range of ANPR solution – the new Multi-Lane ANPR camera TS-500 and an upcoming new Mobile ANPR solution. The visitors to PIPS booth also had the opportunity to preview this new Automatic Vehicle Identification function featured in PIPS back office system. Success Story-City of Lake Geneva ANPR(s) assist locating missing 3 month old from Mount Pleasant

Lake Geneva Police Chief Michael S. Rasmussen reports:  On Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at approximately 8:46p.m., Officers received information that a 3 month old girl was missing from Mount Pleasant.  Mount Pleasant P.D. provided information to the City of Lake Geneva P.D. that the suspect, Craig Conway, 49 y/o, Mount Pleasant, may be in the City of Lake Geneva. Mount Pleasant detectives searched a shared database that stores automated number plate recognition system (ANPRS) information and discovered two separate City of Lake Geneva P.D. patrol cars passed the vehicle Conway was driving within the City of Lake Geneva.
