PIPS Technology has incorporated the use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology into fixed, mobile and portable systems, for the Police Service. The results have been impressive with officials now able to automatically capture, recognise and match vehicle number plates against vehicle records such as DVLA, VOSA, PNC, PNC ID and numerous Intelligence databases.

Main Applications include:

• Fixed – Permanent Installation such as a force control room, police station operations room or a commercial 3rd party partnership CCTV installation.
• Mobile ANPR – In-car solution to capture number plates and compare to databases to produce a HIT
• Fully Portable – A self contained system which is able to be moved easily from vehicle to vehicle, or used within a building for operations or in a roadside deployment.
