2005 witnessed dramatic growth in both sales and global recognition of the brand. In April 2005 we were honoured with the UK’s most prestigious business award, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. This was shortly followed by winning the Hampshire Business Award for innovation, receiving a technology medal from the British Computer Society and most recently winning the APPSS Equipment and Technology Innovation Award. The awards underpin and recognise PIPS core philosophy of providing innovative and world leading ANPR systems. It also recognises the contribution of our customers and staff in creating unique and original products that can be deployed around the world.

PIPS wins the Equipment and Technology Innovation Award from the Association of Police & Public Security Suppliers
PIPS Technology has won the 2006 APPSS Equipment and Technology Innovation Award for their PAGIS system in partnership with Hertfordshire Constabulary.
The award was presented by Lord Mackenzie, President of the APPSS, to each of the two winning partners at the Home Office scientific development Branch Exhibition at RAF Halton in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

PIPS Technology is celebrating after taking honours recently (Thursday 15th September 2005) at the prestigious Hampshire Business Awards.
