P359 - Colour Scene Overview Camera
In addition to the P366 IR Illuminator ANPR Camera, each PIPS system can support additional Overview/Scene Image Cameras. This is accomplished with the addition of a P359 Overview Camera set for a wider view to capture a detailed image of the vehicle of interest.
Available in both monochrome and colour, the P359 is normally connected to the P366 ANPR Camera via a “daisy chain” connection and is triggered simultaneously with the P366. This Overview/Scene Image Camera employs an onboard multiplexer that will integrate fields from the P366 ANPR Camera and the P359, sending both images through the same camera cable to the P3x7 Processor. The P3x7 will separate the two images and create a link between the number plate read, the number plate image and the overview image of the vehicle.
