SpikeStore
SpikeStore is A Rugged Roadside Image Store. SpikeStore provides Spike+ with roadside storeage of up to 12 million ANPR images which is typically every vehicle for more than one year on a busy road. The time-stamped vehicle registration number is sent immediatley and the images can be pulled when needed. The other key features of SpikeStore are as follows:
- Pay-as-you-go communications for image transfer, including GPRS, 3G and UTMS
- Designed for 365/24/7 operation with mirrored RAID1 disks for data security
- Fully sealed to IP68 and designed for silo deployment or direct burying

- GPRS comms provide retrieval of plate patch in a few seconds, with full images sent in about a minute
- Central BOSS database server with image pull on watch-list hit or by search and selection

- Sull SHA-1 authentication with AES 256 encryption at the time of capture for financial level security on every image set
- On site fast retrieval of images via 100Mbps Ethernet in parallel with normal operation
