The Capture Cards have the ability to capture multiple camera video source inputs, whether raw video or multiplexed. One card can handle up to 8 inputs and multiplex will give you 16 inputs.

It converts the video signal from the camera into a digital signal used by the operating system in conjunction with the applications.
